Juan Angel is a detail oriented designer, focusing on exploring the consequences and implications of designing a product in the present and for the future, therefore his objective is to discover new ways to design every day objects. At the moment his current focus lays at discovering and searching for new geometries and shape language through materials exploration and the application of emerging technologies such as 3D printing.
On the other hand, Juan began his academic experience with his technical studies for 2 years in cabinetmaking at Sena. Six years later, he obtained his Bachelor in Industrial Design at the Javeriana University in Bogota. Additionally, he holds a degree of specialization in Innovation & Design Thinking at the Andes University of Colombia. Simultaneously during his studies he designed products for companies such as; Corona, Grival and Kassani in Colombia, Sindmóveis in Brazil, Dhemen in Spain, Benelli in Italy, Luyuan, Dayang, Amama and Seesa in China.
