In the future, we will have to find new resources for food due to hunger in the world. The problem is the increasing number of inhabitants in our planet without a balance of the food production.
We were imagining insects as a future option of food resources. The idea was based on scientific research. The main concept was to show the interaction between people and their future food.
We made an installation based on the taboo existing about insects in most of the developed countries since people are repulsed by their appearance and therefore, don’t like to eat them. We based our project on insect-like beautiful textures and used the microscope as the source of these, accomplishing the concept of reduction to maximization: the max concept is in the details of the textures although they are small and reduced.
