Paths of Potential

Project by Anna Clark and Clara Cristina Rêgo under Profs. Uwe Gellert and Carmen Luippold

Due to bad air quality, and other reasons, cities are demanding change in regards to transportation. Specialists suggest that motorized vehicles can be reduced and eventually eliminated in order to improve air quality. We need to take responsibility for air pollution and ownership of public spaces. The heart of successful and healthy cities depends on us.

Paths of Potential is an online resource for people who want to make changes. An introductory video shows how we don’t need to rely on automobiles as much as we think. There are examples of current initiatives, cities making transitions for alternative transportation systems, and suggestions about what we can begin adapting to right now.

The goal is to reduce air pollution and eliminate car dependency in our living areas. Each of us has the power to make a difference, one path at a time.
